Ten men founded Kappa Alpha Psi on January 5, 1911, in Bloomington. Every chapter that followed, including The Bridge, carries that charge forward.
On February 1, 1998, Kappa Alpha Psi chartered the Woodbridge (VA) Alumni Chapter at the Quantico Marine Corps Base Officers’ Club, the 21st Eastern Province Polemarch Anthony B. Hill presiding. Twenty-four charter members placed their names on the petition.

The chapter’s scholarship honoring Brother Frederick D. Essex begins its work, awarded to graduating seniors of service, leadership, and academic excellence. Add the founding year.

A quarter century after Quantico, the chapter gathers for Charter Day to honor twenty-five years of brotherhood, achievement, and service across Prince William County.

The 15th Polemarch leads The Bridge today, renewing the chapter’s commitment to service, excellence, and intentional impact across the Eastern Province.
Every administration added to this line through the brothers who showed up and the young men they lifted. There is space for you in the work ahead.
