On behalf of the 15th Administration, I extend heartfelt greetings. I am deeply honored to serve as the 15th Polemarch of this esteemed chapter, proudly known throughout the Eastern Province as “The Bridge.”
This moment marks a renewed commitment to service, excellence, and intentional impact.
As we look ahead, our mission is clear: to amplify our presence, elevate our influence, and expand the reach of our service throughout Prince William County and the surrounding areas.
We are cultivating a culture grounded in collaboration, driven by innovation, and anchored in excellence, all in pursuit of strengthening The Bridge as a transformative force and pillar within the Eastern Province.
Now is the time to lean in.
Get involved. Be present. Whether you’re a Brother, a partner, or a community member, there is space for you in this mission. The work ahead is meaningful, and we’re inviting you to be part of the movement.
Let’s build. Let’s serve. Let’s lead.
Yours in the Bond,
Dakhalfani Boyd

Woodbridge (VA) Alumni Chapter
Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.
For more than two decades before the chapter existed, Kappa men in Prince William County had two options if they wanted to be involved close to home: affiliate north with Alexandria-Fairfax, or south with Fredericksburg. Several brothers, led by past Grand Keeper of Records and Exchequer and 19th Eastern Province Polemarch William Croom, alongside Brothers Robert Harding, Sr. and Ronald Thompson, believed Prince William County could sustain a chapter of its own. Twenty-one others agreed and signed the petition.
On February 1, 1998 Kappa Alpha Psi established the Woodbridge (VA) Alumni Chapter at a chartering ceremony held at the Quantico Marine Corps Base Officers’ Club. The 21st Eastern Province Polemarch Anthony B. Hill presided. The room was full of brothers from across the Province and citizens from the local community. With that ceremony, a chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi became available to hundreds of communities between Fredericksburg, VA and Baltimore, MD.
Since then, The Bridge has carried its name with intention. Every initiative we undertake, every program we sponsor, every Saturday morning gathering, draws from the same source: the conviction that this chapter is a span between heritage and future, between brothers and the community we serve.

Men of distinction who placed their names on the petition and stood up the chapter at Quantico in 1998.
Hours invested in Prince William County and beyond. Youth mentorship, scholarship, civic engagement, and community uplift.
Continuous, uninterrupted brotherhood and impact since the chartering ceremony at Quantico in February 1998.
The Bridge operates on two parallel commitments. The first is the heritage of Kappa Alpha Psi itself, a national fraternity founded in 1911 with chapters across the country. The second is the next generation we are charged to develop. The Kappa League gives us the means.
Kappa Alpha Psi, a college fraternity now comprised of functioning undergraduate and alumni chapters on major campuses and in cities throughout the country, is the crystallization of a dream that began with ten men at Indiana University in 1911.
